Sky bingo offers 75 ball bingo, 80 ball bingo and 90 ball bingo. Although, as a UK site, it offers more choice for 90 ball bingo, the other games add variety and it is nice that Sky offers all three types of basic bingo games. Also, it has bingo games with a twist, extra aspects added to 'plain' bingo - like Deal or no Deal bingo, and Joker's Jackpot. The site's homepage and bingo lobby has clear graphics and is very easy to use and navigate, so you should be able to quickly find a bingo game that suits you. It offers a range of card prices too, starting at pennies, so you can definitely have lots of bingo fun for very little outlay. The value 90 ball bingo game has 5p cards! The Marine Mayhem multiplayer slots game starts at 1p if you fancy cheap and fun slots in between bingo.
Clicking the 'Play Bingo' button on the site homepage (once you are signed up and logged in) will get you to the bingo lobby. There you will see various tabs to access various categories of games. The tabs are: all rooms, 90 ball, 80 ball, 75 ball, variety, multi player and highlights. The tabs will show you the schedules for that category - the room name, type of game, countdown to the next game starting, prize value (there is a guaranteed prize for all rooms!), ticket cost, number of players in that room at the moment and the maximum number of tickets you are allowed to purchase for each game. Check under each game listing for details of the ticket price and any special offers (e.g. BOGOF) for the next game - I have put some ticket prices in the listing as I found them to give you an idea, but this can vary so do check! Keep an eye out for free bingo games that can appear under different tabs when they run (depending on the type of bingo). Sky bingo has free bingo throughout the day in three different rooms. You can find free bingo games in the Variety room, the Pennies room and the Value room. Winnings from free bingo are credited as bonus funds so the same conditions apply as for the deposit bonus mentioned in previous section above, i.e. you can only buy bingo tickets with bonus funds and can't withdraw them. Guaranteed jackpots
Daily Bingolinx games
There are three Bingolinx games that run per day for a total of £8,000 in guaranteed prize money - these are 90 ball bingo games and can be found in the 90 ball bingo rooms. The games are played at 12 midday for a guaranteed £1,500, 6pm for a guaranteed £2500 and 10:30pm for a guaranteed £4,000. Tickets cost 50p for each of these games and there is a maximum of 72 tickets that can be purchased. Pre-buy is available so you don't need to miss out on the chance at these big prizes.
Check the highlights section of the lobby (see above) for any special higher prize games for the Bingolinx that might be scheduled.
Daily £1,000 games
The £1,000 guaranteed games run every evening at 10pm - and as with the Bingolinx games pre-buy is available. Tickets are only 10p each too, with a maximum of 72 tickets per game. This is 90 ball bingo as well and can be found in the 'Premium' and 'Value' bingo rooms. The £1,000 prize money is split as follows: £100 for the one line win, £200 for the two line win and £700 for the Full House.
£500 for 5p game
The Sky bingo "£500 for 5p" game takes place every day at 8.30pm in the Pennies, Value and Premium Rooms. There is a total of £500 in prizes guaranteed and you can buy up to 120 tickets for each game.
Progressive jackpots
There are lots of progressive jackpot games to partake in at Sky Bingo. Below is a list of them and you can see that it is easy to play bingo with a chance of a big win at Sky - and in all bingo formats too although the traditional UK 90 ball bingo dominates.
The details of these progressive jackpots do change now and again so click here to get to Sky Bingo then click on 'Promotions' on the left of the page, then click on 'Sky Bingo Jackpots' at the lower right of the page. In particular the number of ball calls to trigger the jackpot game is adjusted now and again so I haven't listed the current numbers.

Sky Bingo is part of the Sky brand and so has a sister site - Sky Vegas - which has a very wide range of choice of table games to play. Your Bingo account should work on Sky Vegas too. Buy One Get One Free Bingo games

Deposit bonus
The Sky Bingo welcome bonus is a free £10 when you register as a new Sky Bingo customer, and are not an existing customer of Sky poker, Sky bet or Sky Vegas. If you have any pre-existing Sky account you can't get the bonus. Also the Moneybookers and Neteller deposit methods don't qualify for the welcome bonus.
The £10 bonus money will be added to your cash account once you have qualified, but it can only be used for buying bingo tickets, you can't cash it out (or use it for side/instant/mini games). Sky Bingo Gems is Sky bingo's new loyalty scheme which came in on the 1st of March 2011. You get loyalty points for playing bingo on Sky, just like in other loyalty schemes, but the difference here is that there are different levels (named after gems). The more you play the higher level you get, and with the higher level comes more loyalty points for the amount of bingo (and mini games) played. That is, it becomes easier to earn points the higher the gem level you are, and you get to higher gem levels by playing more.
All Sky bingo players can be part of the Sky Bingo gems loyalty scheme, if you go to the bonus/promos tab in the bingo lobby (that is the actual bingo game window you get when you click 'Play Bingo', not the promotions tab on the home page on the website) you will see your Loyalty Points account. This shows a record of your current loyalty level, how many points you have and how many points you need to move to the next level. If you click on 'how to earn points' (within your Loyalty Points account) you will be able to see how many points you can earn by playing on different games - both bingo and mini games.
Everyone starts at the first level of Sky Bingo Gems - this is called the 'Pearl' level. By earning points you move up through the levels (Sapphire, then Ruby, then Emerald, and finally Diamond) and at each higher level you get more points per £1 spent on bingo tickets and mini games. Click on the gems in the info page for details on how many points per £1 spend on bingo and mini games - you get more points for bingo play.
You must earn a minimum number of loyalty points in a calendar month to remain at your current level or you will be moved down a level at the end of the month. The points can be spent in the points store, and you can get bingo bonuses or cash (cash is more expensive (in terms of loyalty points) than bonuses as it is withdrawable, whereas bonuses have to be spent on bingo tickets). Redeeming points doesn't affect your progress up the gems levels, as that is determined by points earned not the amount you have. You can only earn loyalty points with real funds not bonus funds and they expire after four months if you don't use them.
Sky Bingo accepts the following cards: Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Soli, Laser and Maestro. The minimum deposit is £5 and deposits show as 'Sky Bet' on statements. Do note that if there is no activity on your account for 24 months Sky reserve the right to close the account and keep any funds. I am not sure if just logging in counts as activity or if you have to play bingo.
